Default Brake problems

On our 94 SC2 AT with ABS the brakes are weird on it, I think it has done it ever since we had it in December. Anyways when the car is taken out of park and put into any drive gear, it's ok. When the car is moving and the brakes are pressed they go to the floor then let of and press again and the brakes are fine. The brake fluid level is fine, the ABS light doesn't stay on. What could be wrong?

Sounds like the master cylinder is going. I can't be 100% sure though, considering you've got ABS.

does this only happen once... right after start up and at about 5mph...at the same time do you hear a funnie buzzing noise, coming from under the hood...that could be normal..abs self test..

or does it intermitanty go to the floor anytime--most likly the master

If you decide to try and change the master
you will need a scan tool to release the abs pistons...and to rehome...

CAREFULL..YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE ABS MOTOR PACK TO CHANGE THE MASTER...THE GEARS CAN TAKE OFF A FINGER IF NOT RELEASED

If you apply the brakes during the "self check" that occurs shortly after you initially drive the car, these symptoms will result. If they are ONLY occuring during the initial first movements of the car, I'd say the mastercylinder/ABS unit are both just fine.
