Default Broken Domelight

So the tabs broke on my 97 sl2 domelight, and since they're like 20 or so plus shipping on Ebay, i was wondering if ya'll had a good suggestion on how to keep the darn thing from dangling and looking ghetto or stuffing it up under the headliner and looking more ghetto. i tried some marine glue for the tab, but alas, no avail.

help

you can take off the lense and screw it into the roof, then put the lense back on - on my old sl2 it actually held better when i had to do this

Such a good idea. Mine dangle. I'll see if I can do that.

Make sure you use a short screw and that you attach it to the roof support structure and not the roof itself. There is a support that runs across at the domelight and it can be attached there. I had to do it to my car using a short self tapping screw. Be careful.

Haha goldie, I warned you about the tabs breaking. Did you break both or just one? I broke one, and somehow I can keep it up with just one tab.
