Default Burnt out dashboard and ornery cruise control.

My speedometer lights are burned out. I've gotten some books on Saturns but none of them have instructions explicit enough on changing the console lights on my 93 SL1. Anyone have any suggestions?

Secondly, my cruise control likes to cut in and out. Typically when it is really hot or really cold the cruise control likes to cut out between 62-72. I generally have to shut it off and wait anywhere from a minute to 15 minutes before I can turn it on and get it working. Sometimes the gas pedal will come up but and if i push it back down it will make a clicking noise and hold. Any suggestions on what might be happening here?

thanks,
Mark

If you really don't use cruise control, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Default cruise control

Oh i always use my cruise control... thats the problem... It's a 93 and it has definitely been worth the money (182,000 miles) but I was wondering what I could do to fix it without taking it in. I'm a poor college student strapped for cash. I can deal with it but I would like to know what is going on. Just want to know that is isn't something related to the ignition problem with that recall.

I have no idea your best bet is to talk to Joey.

U got a short somewhere.......first thing u want to do is check your fuses. If they're ok, you're going to have to follow the wiring to make sure none of it's loose.

Did this all happen at once? If so my guess would be the fuse too.
