| Car Shuts Off Ok what would cause a car to shut off?
I'm sitting at a stop sign, clutch pushed in the whole way, it's in 1st gear and it shuts off. No bucking so it's not like I stalled it. I start it back up. It seems to have a problem at idling and shuts off again. Start it up same thing, shuts off. Start it up and I Rev it pretty good and it stays running, although I don't think it's idling quite right.
Where should it be idling at? |

| ooo, em forgot to tell ya. Check and make sure your plug wires are on all the way. Also could be the egr, alternator, or cts....but I really think your car is too new to have those problems already....

| Joey - just taking an educational guess here on my part. I think it has to do with actual power. When it shuts off you can't tell it did until you see the lights on the dash light up like it stalled. It's a real smooth shut off. The car isn't sputtering or acting totally crazy. It just shuts off and doesn't idle as high as it use too.
i got 4,000 miles left on my warranty.... i'm HOPING the "problems" will END ugh. |

| If it's under warranty, I'd let saturn fix it and pay the bill. |

Where should it be idling at? | Off the top of my head a loose connection/bad connection. The idling not right would be the place to start checking though. It just may idling poorly and then idling down to nothing so fats you may no tbe noticing it. Kick that warrenty into high gear.
