Default Catalytic Convertor Rattling

11k miles on my High Flow cat and it's rattling, I checked the heat shield and it seems solid. It sounds like the heat shields under the car when they rattle, if you have experienced that.

Anyways if there is a fix I would appreciate it. If not how hard is it to undo the flange, drop the cat back and bash out the insides?

An O2 sim is $45

My cat is warrantied, but R&R and shipping is going to run $80 at least.

I am trying to buy a house within two months and will fix it right later. My eventually goal is a flanged cat and flanged test pipe I can change out when racing.

Its pretty easy to gut. I gutted mine for the time being and had Joey send me another one. Hopefully gonna see what the difference is at the drag strip this weekend.

on the OBDII cars, this just throws a check engine code right, no drivability problems?
