Default Christ! Another "Will This Work?" Post!?!?!

Sorry guys, I know how these things can get annoying, but I think that this is my first "will this work" post on this board, so I guess I am entitled

Anyway, I was doing some looking around for ZX2 parts since I am helping my buddy with his car. When I was looking through the exhaust section, I saw something that made me look twice. Here is the quote from the website"

Quote:

PEP/ZXtuner MIL (Service Engine Light) Eliminator
Have you installed an aftermarket header or a catalytic converter off road pipe and now that pesky "Service Engine Soon" light is on? Here's the fix... a MIL eliminator kit. This small circuit is spliced into the 4 wires on your rearmost, secondary O2 sensor. Only one kit needed for 4 cyl applications. Note: This does not disable the service engine light for other functions - all else will work the same as before the MIL Eliminator installation.
Well, this is from http://www.zx2racing.com in their exhaust section, and I know that I have been having this trouble myself. Do you think that this would work, or do you think that maybe something could be made for saturns that has the same effect? Anyway, everyone feel free to insult me mercilessly over my post

my car has a test pipe and a very free flowing exhaust, i hear that can cause something that happends with the 02 sensor and causes spark knock, could this thing ur talking about eliminate that problem with the egr...since its known to make service engine lights go on in obd ii vehicles

sounds like your talking about the heated rear O2 sensor. if that's the case they make an O2 simulator. i believe it's casper electronics.

That is what I am hoping since I am having that same problem.

I guess that may be what this is. Do you happen to have any more information on how to get my hands on one of these?
