Default Code P0410 - Secondary Air Injection

I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what the computer is reading to throw the P0410 code? I keep getting it thrown. I know it has to do with the electric air pump that blows during startup into the exhaust manifold.

I have had a aftermarket exhuast header (Hotshot) for over 2 years now and it just started to throw the code. I tried to clean out the air injector hole and that didn't seem to help either. It throws the code after the car is warm, not if the car has sat for a period of time. (example: I'll start the car for lunch and drive to a restaurant and eat. When I turn the car back on to go back to work (30 min. later) the code will throw).

i think a ranger we worked on had same problem but there was also a sucking noise too. problem was idle air control valve. now maybe yours is different but maybe you should test it.
