Default Coilover springs & Car suddenly dies on 92' SL2 DOHC

Issue 1. Car is lowered & has a bumpy shake and bake ride. I want to take out lowering springs and put coilover. Just wondering if there's a specific year and model coilover springs that would fit without modification to bring the ride back to par.It currently has stock OEM struts.
Issue 2. Car recently just dies on the highway after 15min. ride, goes great and all of a sudden cuts off and egine just dies like it's not getting fuel. Replaced the Fuel Filter and it still dies after going for about 10min. or so. Car starts and goes again after waiting 10-15 min. then dies again after traveling 5 miles or so. The car currently has 120k miles on it. Was told it may be Fuel Pump or Ignition Coil. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Issue #1: coil-overs tend to ride harsher. Try new struts....original and they're shot.

Issue #2: sounds like a place to start.

OEM originals? tif thats the case they need to be replaced if they got more than 60k onm them. also did you get an alignment after the spring install? if you get coilovers they will be even worse

it could also be a dirty air filter, a clogged PCV, or a clogged EGR valve.

Stalling problem also has symptoms of the engine coolant temp. sensor malfunction.

Default Still dying after being run 10 min.

Thanks for the input on coilover being worse. Won't go that route than. Will put new strut as suggested.
Main problem now.Replaced PCV valve, DIS Coil (pick-up coil),Fuel filter, air filter and gonna put Fuel Pump in next. Car does not overheat, the only sensor the SES code puts out after all this is Air Intake sensor code. Would that cause it to shut down the car? or EGR as someone suggest. Car still dies after all the new install(without new Fuel Pump). Will report after new Fuel Pump install, don't know what else is there?

Hello

Regarding issue 2 when vehicle dies, use throttle bore cleaner or
carb cleaner and spray into throttle body and crank engine over
to see if it starts up, if it does fuel pump problem
also crank shaft position sensor could cause problem if hot and no
spark....causing intermittent cut out...
check these out first....
later...

Stalling concern:

When the car dies and before it wants to start again check for spark. If there is no spark then you may have a crank position sensor problem.

Crank position sensor lets the PCM know where the timing of the crank/pistons is and thusly the valve train so it knows when to fire the spark. If there is no signal from the crank sensor there is no spark. It is located on the back of the engine just above the back/in behind the starter. Prices and such look around in your area. Should be availible in the aftermarket.

Default Issue 2. Car STILL dies on the highway after 15min.

OK>..Replacd the Fuel Pump and still dies after riding 15min. or when Hot. Not getting spark as Ssicarman is suggeting. Will now proceed to replace crank position sensor.
Here a list of what's replaced;
Fuel Pump;DIS coil pack;Fuel filter;Air Filter;IAC valve;Bored out TB;put back stock air intake vs. previous short air intake.
Anything else I'm missing here????
