Default Computer Program/software

what software is out there that can manage / control or maybe replace the gauges (if not all) in your car (i.e. tach, temps., oil pressure etc.)?
tuning programs and hardware that hooks up to laptop?
Software that measures G forces, (W)HP, torque,etc.?

You can get a standalone program and it will tell you alot of those functions that you want but how are you going to look at a laptop when driving? Sounds kinda dangerous to me so i suggest you look into the defi performance gauge setup. www.defi-shop.com

Some good standalone program compaines are haltech, aem, megasquirt, apexi. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANY OF THESE SYSTEMS! Plus do you have a dyno accessible? Because if yout dont there no point in owning one of these because street tuning isnt the best way to tune at car with a standalone program.
www.epictechnologies.com also makes a really really really really great gauge setups, and g meters for racing. But be prepared to spend around 5g's or more for the setup.
