Default couple of ?'s

1.Do the saturn sc models all use the same size radiator from 91-96?
2.What would cause the car not start after you drove it for about 45 minutes to an hour?it acts just like a bad battery.I swapped out for a new battery, and the alternator tested fine also.it does not run hot,but it rattles a little,if you hit the gas hard.if you ease down on it slowly, then its fine.the rattle is like a "spark knock".thanx in advance.

it has a minor noise, similar to a spark knock,or as if it were running hot and you kept driving it.it is not overheating.it only makes the noise if you hit the gas hard, then it clears up.after its been driven for awhile, cit it off,and it won't start.its just like the battery is dead.it just will turn over.coll it down and it starts fine.hope this helps.thanx

The noise when you hit the gas hard just may be that. Spark knock or pinging. Try changing your gas supply or octane for a while and see if that changes. If not then there may be a problem with carbon build up in the engine or the knock sensor circuit.

When it is not starting but the engine turns over check for spark. If spark try putting your foor into the gas as you crank to see if that does anything.

I'm not sure how far you recommend him to push the pedal while cranking, but if the pedal is down to a certain extent, it automatically cuts off fuel flow.
