Default crack in rubber for Torque axis mount

I don't know if I got the name exactly on but the rubber if that is what is in it looks like there is a small crack in it. I can take pics if you need one to see if it needs to be replaced at all. I havent noticed any bad vibrations at all when idle or driving.

If the rubber is cracking then the mount does need to be replaced. How soon it is done is up to you.

2002 is a stiffer mount. SDA makes inserts.

well, as far as performance, the stiffer inserts..

but as far as lasting better, the third gen top motor mounts were made stronger then the earlier years, but if you go to the dealer, its $100+

you can get one from autozone for like $45

ok now would the autozone one be as good as one from the dealership or the 3rd gen one and will the 3rd gen year just be a direct replacement so it will just fit right in place of the old one

Any upper engine mount that you get from Saturn will be a direct fit. After market should should fit as well. As for is it as good as the Saturn one who knows.

You need a jack, rachet and socket. Use the search feature. I posted up a tutorial on replacing the mounts.

Oh, and why waste the extra $55 on a Saturn mount? The AutoZone is exactly the same.
