Default Creaking in rear susp

I've noticed recently that the rear suspension creaks under small bumps and highway travel. Just want to know where to look when I jack up the rear end. My only assumption would be the bushings have died.

Does it do it over moderately sized bumps or speed bumps? Maybe mine are gone too. Oh well, I'm not taking them all apart for just that.

It could be the bushings or the struts. If it's the bushings now is a great time to upgrade to poly!

I finally finished mine up (along with the rear disc set-up I've been sitting on for a year) and it tightened it up a great deal.....well worth the hassle/effort to install them.

Try spraying some WD-40 on the bushings......if the creaking stops for awhile you know where the problem lies. You could even do the same thing with the struts, if you can get the WD-40 under the boot/dust cover.

When you're under there check the sway bar links. They may be sticky and causing the noise.

K will crawl under there on tuesday, have some major studying this weekend. Life & Health Insurance License exam for new job Monday @ 3:00, and Accounting test later that evening.

Wont upgradeing to poly bump my Solo2 class? There are thoughts in the works for turning my SL2 into a hardcore autox car once i get my commission checks start rolling in.

Will spray everything down with wd-40 and see what happens. Thanks.

Does it on moderatly sized bumps and when i get out of the car. Just kinda concerned since I'm now driving over 700+ miles a week and am quickly approching 115K on the odo, and need the car to last me some more time, at least till march or april.
