Default dang!


Just got anew muffler. But its 2 1/4". Since the saturn's mufflers are stock 1 7/8", what will i have to do to make the new muffler fit?

Check with a local muffler shop and see if they can do you up an adaptor to go from the smaller size to the larger. If you have them do the install they should be able to do it with no major fuss.

hope it wont run me too much money. Had to put a whole new pipe, muffler, and converter into my other car for $140 installed

Cost me $100 to get a 2 1/4" inlet muffler installed, but the guy only charged me for 1 of 3 hours because I bought the muffler there. He said as long as the muffler is under 20" (mines 17") long it will fit, if not you need to take it to someone like mieneke that can custom make a pipe to fit it.

Adaptors cost a couple of bucks. Nice n' cheap.

I can't believe the guy took 3 hours to install it though. Wow, he must take lots of coffee breaks.
