Default don't think im getting gas!!

My 97 Saturn SL2 has sat for the last 2.5 months and when I went to start it, It turns over tries to fire but dies. Is there any thing like an emergency fuel shut off on these which may have been tripped? ANy other thoughts?

clogged fuel system, bad fuel pump(common on 96-98 cars) and many other things. one thing to try, if you got another hand, get a spray bottle and put gas in it and spray it through the throttle body while trying to start, or maybe just use starting fluid. just try that to see if you can get the engine running if not then tell us whats going on and then if it does run like that then check fuses and relays, if good move onto replacing the fuel filter, if that doesnt fix it check that power is going to fuel pump and fuel injectors and listen for fuel pump to whine when key is turned to ON position but dont start.

also check for spark to all cylinders, from sitting so long the coils could have moisture in them or wires or in the cylinder and check that spark plugs are good or just replace them anyways. and too put some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders( through spark plug hole) to lube the pistons since it hasnt been run in a long time, let it soak good.

Airlock?? So then it started? In the future add some info about the car like number of miles etc. I had a similiar problem after I had let mine sit for a time. If you still have the probem I'll elaborate.
