I just purchased a 96 sw2 with electric locks. I am wondering if this vehicle has remote locks and maybe the remote just got lost along its lifetime. Does anyone know how to check to see if this vehicle has remote capabilites short of taking the door panels off. thanx. wnk.
you can got to the dealership, give them the VIN number and they will give you a printout of all the original options on the car. Other than that the only thing I know of is to look and see if there is a reciever module installed in the car. mine is behind the seat part on the vertical cushion of the backseat, on the passenger side, the thin piece behind the seatbelt. hope that was confusing enough.
