Default easiest way to pull engine?


going to get a dohc engine from a 1992 sc at the junkyard, not sure if its auto or manual, never pulled a motor from a front wheel drive before and want to make it as quick as possible, give me some advice here guys..

When swapping the DOHC's in my 97 SC2 we took it out the bottom, there seemed to be no feasible way to pull it out the top. Hoisted the dismounted engine up on jacks, chained the body to an engine hoist, lowered the jacks the engine was on and raised the front of the car up with the hoist.

Just make sure *every* wire, hose, and cable is disconnected before attempting to pull it out...

use a sawza to cut the front end off. engine and tranny will fall right out. thats how we did it!
