egr problems in the cold? After getting out of work today around 12:30 I noticed the SES light was on. Thankfully I work 2 miles from auto zone. I got the code scanned, P040 sticking egr valve (or something like that). After driving around all day it went off.
Is this normal? The car is stored in my garage, but spent about 4 hours outside in the -5 degree air. I wouldn't have posted (since it went off) but this is the second time its given this code. The last time was in the summer which I fixed by replacing the pcv (no idea how that worked).
