Electrical Nightmare...Help I'm no automotive electrician, so this problem really has me baffled. It's a weird one but I will try my best to describe everything in detail, sorry for the post being so long.
The other day I went to take off, car started initially fine no problems there, all seemed well I went to turn on the A/C and then all hell broke loose it seems, car began to rev wildly on it's own, SES Light flashed almost like it was trying to come on but couldn't, Oil, and Coolant lights blinking (the same way as the SES), Turned off the A/C those problems went away but would return as soon as I turned it on.
Ok thinking it was just the A/C Circuit I turned off the car but low and behold it decided it was gonna die and not wanna restart at all (no cranking nothing), Turned out the battery was dead and had only 1 Cranking amp. Thinking it was just the battery I replaced it and for a time the new battery seemed to fix the problem but now it's doing the I don't wanna start no power crap again, although sometimes everything will work and the car will start, A/C will even run now go figure. Once it's running it does not die and I could probably even drive it but I obviously don't wanna risk it. Most everything has power (with the ignition off) but when I turn the key to the on position sometimes everything will start to come on but then cut off or i'll make a brief pop noise when I go to crank the engine then everything goes dead. It's acting like a circuit breaker is blowing then reseting but I dunno anything about that, as I said i'm no automotive electrician. It acts like it has no power when the key is on but yet if I turn it off the radio works, the dome light is on, etc. But no lights or brake lights, power windows don't work either when this happens, also the hazzard lights flasher makes a buzzing noise (almost sounds like the buzzard at a pawn shop).
Here is where it really gets strange during this if I step on the brake pedal sometimes the doors will unlock by themselves, this was also occuring when I would go to reconnect the battery, as I said though above after a bit sometimes everything starts working again.
Here is what I have checked so far...
1. New Battery is good I had it tested it's not fried or nothing, didn't even
need charging.
2. I wondered if maybe the PCM could be bad when I was able to get
everything to come on, I ran a diagnostic and got the usual Code 12
three times so I think it's fine. When everything isn't working which is
most of the time I can't even pull codes.

As for the Alternator it's less then a year old but I will have it tested, probably the starter as well just to rule those items out.
Wheww well thats it again sorry for the long post, hopefully somebody here will be able to point me in the right direction before I start tearing everything apart. Right now we're relying on our old E150 Gas guzzling Van so I really need to get the Saturn back on the road.
