I just had a new muffler installed on my car, and I know notice that the exhaust is visible whenever my car revs to about 5000 rpm (give or take). Its usually happens whenever I take off. Its not a black, oily-looking smoke, nor does it stink, but its a definent visible, grayish-white smoke that can be sorta seen whenever i take off. any ideas why??

From what you describe it sounds like you might be burning some oil whenever you get into the high rpms.

like every 1.9 you are prolly burnin oil...or u now have a straight thru muffler which lets more crap thru so you can now see it, plus keep in mind that the OE muffler was turned down so it went straight to the ground as opposed to any aftermarket muffler
