Default A/F gauge

What purple wire on the J3 connector am i suppose to use to connect my A/F gauge? I have two of them.
I have it hooked on one now and the readings i'm getting don't seem right.
At WOT i'm getting lean signals. It's an autometer sport compact style.

and if all else fails, you can tap into the O2 wire just after the harness point in the engine bay, that's what I did. Tapped in an inch or two behind the plug with some 12 gauge, heavily insulated wire and fed it through the firewall.

Ed, i was thinking of that too, but i didn't want more added wire in the bay.
If all else fails, i'll try it.
thanks guys
Todd

ps Ed, those parts i had Joey install for you (from me) were ARP Crank Studs. We gave you some added strength for you!!
and your welcome

whoops I was thinking about the power wire (to my heated O2 conversion) when I mentioned 12 gauge. For the sensor wire itself, I hooked in some 16-18 gauge wire and tucked it straight into the factory wire loom (the black hard plastic sheath) and ran it within the sheath until well out of the way of any danger, and then routed it underneath/behind the battery tray so it still looks pretty clean. I don't like cutting into those thin little wires at the PCM plug, plus smaller wires don't hold as well in crimps

and seriously, thanks a lot for those crank studs, it's much appreciated. Joey was telling me that I should be quite grateful to you and I am, but you haven't ever seemed to check your pm's so I figured it would be easiest to thank you at the show and it's better in person anyways.

Ed

ps- how exactly do the crank studs work/where exactly do they go? When you told me how much they were, I spent a good while trying to find parts for that price but for the life of me, I swear I never did see anyone selling any ARP parts for our cars other than head studs

sorry about the pm thing Ed. I really don't pay attetion to that.

the crank studs are................the crankshaft is held in with bolts/caps. you replace the bolts with the studs and the crank is more succerly in place, henc stonger. maybe Joey can explain this better.

SMS sent me those by mistake instead of the headbolts. We didn't find this out till Joey and gang started to put me engine back together.
I was going to send them <crank studs> back, but figured i'de give them to someone <you> for the hell of it.

that Apexi afc does make a nice difference, even at WOT. I never had this car put me in my seat b-4. This think pulls excellent!! I 'm still tuning the afc.
later
