| are rpms going up for real, or just on the tach? If your rpms are really going up, but you're not driving faster, it's going to be something more serious than a sensor - more likely a clutch or something. |

Well usually it does it when i press on the gas !!! like when i drive regular!!! Meaning 45 Street! If i dont press gas pedal hard it holds up but this aint no fun when your car is sort of fixed to run!!! Also after lagg for a little then the car kicks in to speed!!! So I dont know what to do !! I need to fix ASAP this thing bugs me and anything that goes wrong on my satty i fix right away!!! |

| well, the TPS wouldn't give inaccurate tach readings - but it still doesn't seem confirmed if that's the case or if the car is just running like crap. A bad TPS would cause the car to run like crap. Maybe that's what's happening, I dunno. |

| clutch for sure, stick shift, slam gas, rpms spike up, car does nothing.....
and you can pick up a new one for less than $185 on Ebay, OEM.
if you want better than OEM quality, then you will start paying more.
i babied mine for 6 months (same problem) before i had to park it, presently pulling engine, engine rebuild and clutch all at once...
bummer, but stuff wears out sooner or later...
laterz,
baldy
