| What is this aluminum plate? Just part of the shift knob? What is the other surface you're gluing to? |

| If it inst a major part of the shift knob and just a comestic part (outside part) the strongest glue to use is epoxy which you can get at any auto zone or parts store will have. Just make sure that the epoxy is made for metal, because they make multiple types of epoxy.

The aluminum plate with the 1.2.3.4.5.R and Saturn logo, is just an aluminum plate glued to a peice of putty on the knob... Pretty cheap ass materials. Basically, im thinking because of the heat in AZ, and temp changes, the glue broke down. It just fell off one day, so i need to glue the piece back on with strong glue.
Ill take pics if you guys want me too, i thought the aluminum was one solid piece, guess not.
