NO, IN 95 they went to a linear egr valve, whole diffrent pattern, so, your 95 egr will not bolt up to the 94 or under head, UNLESS, UNLESS, you know joey, and a little known part called the saturn california egr emmisions adapter.
opus, this is NOT something i release to just anyone, write me at my site for the part number and info, WITHOUT IT YOU WILL HAVE NO EGR CAPABILITYS. ill be out of town today to go see the results of a recent MRI i had done, i WILL answer over the weekend, any dealer can order this part for you and its about 60 bucks, matter of fact, know what? i got a spare one , ill sell it to you half price. If you just use the head you may be ok. But be aware that that the 95 engines are kind of orpahans in that they don't normally match any other engine in the S-series line. First federal emmision engine (for Saturn) with the linear EGR and last OBD I engine. So like I said with just the head you may be ok putting a 97 on the 95 block but the electronics are not the same for sure. Things like the injectors.

yeah im using the head, intake manifold and eventually the block. everything else will either be off my engine now or replaced and upgraded. Talking to saturn they said the head should work no problem but the more i think about it i think im going to get the adapter for the egr just incase. Ya know anyone that might want a few new/used engine parts. Im prolly gonna get all the parts i take off my car ported and polished and stuff and try to sell it.
