Default Heat Shield on Battery


For the love of God..tell me how we can get this thing off.

It will not budge.

Do we need it? Can I break it? LOL

Remove the two battery terminal, positive and negative 8mm. Remove the hold down bolts and nut. 10mm heads. Facing the passenger compartment at the front of the car; one hold down bolt is on the left of the battery low down under beside the rad hose, the other is at the right by the fender under the bracket, the nut is on top just right of the battery. With the cable off and the hold bolts and nut off lift the hold down bracket, heat shield and battery out as one unit. The shield can be gotten off easily once everythign is out.
