Default Help!!!!!!!!!

my car will start in the mornings and when i leave it for a while, but when i drive 30 or less miles and turn off my car it won't start. all i hear is a clicking sound. i took it in for a electrical diagnostic and they said there was nothing wrong with it. so i was driving about 15 miles down to my house and when i get there it won't start again. so after messing around with the key i finally got it to start. so i went around the neighborhood i notice my a/c is not blowing out cold anymore so i look down at my coolant gauge and it's all the way on hot. so i turn off the a/c and get it back to my house which was only like 400 yards or so and pop the hood and have my little bro turn on the a/c and when he did after about 5 seconds my coolant was boiling all over the place and was smoking. can anyone tell me what's wrong with my car??? are these problems related? thanks in advance.

The not starting thing sounds like it could be as simple as a battery not holding the charge, which explains why it does it only after SHORT trips. Did the stuff they replaced fix your overheating problem or have you not gotten in onto the road to see?

It would also help to know if it was turning over but not starting or not cranking at all. If its cranking but not starting, check fuel and spark related things. If its not cranking I'd go with the battery, cuz if its clicking the starter solenoid should be fine.
