Default Help - Electrical Problems


Ok this is a weird problem. My Dimmer fuse has no power being sent to it, by the dimmer fuse i mean the (Tan) 5 amp fuse in my center consol of my car 1992 sc2. And that being my interior guage cluster, headlight motors and some other things are powerless, it juts happened for no reason this morning! help me out guys. i checked the mein controlling 30 amp fuse under the hood, its fine. thanks

First off, I would check every fuse. One can lead to another. Have you done any tinkering lately with anything at all? The more we know the more we can help, but maybe that is all you know.

yes, actually check the RADIO fuse. not the fuse in your aftermarket radio (if u have one) but the car fuse labeled RADIO (its fuse number 10 inside your car and its a 7.5 amp). on my car when that goes out so does alot of other stuff. hope thats the problem. and hope this helps.

ok, the radio fuse being the one for just the radio or what? because my head unit still works fine, but i havent tried to turn the radio on yet. also, if this helps, i have an aftermarket tachometer wired into the circuit for my ash try light and thats part of the dimmer fuse.

the fuse is labeled "radio" but it runs more than that. just check it and see. also check the "chime" fuse and "dimmer" fuse

the 10 amp PARK fuse is blown, so i replaced it and the **** works again, the only prob is the heater options lights dont glow anymore but everything else works.
