HELP!! NO REVERSE!!

I was on my way to work today and I got off the exit and was stopped at a red light. The light turned green and when I pressed the gas, I noticed my car lagging quite a bit. By about third gear it was fine. When I pulled in the parking garage I noticed first gear was slipping badly. I then went to back into a parking space and it took about 5 seconds for reverse to engage. It slammed into reverse real hard enough for me to chirp the tires. I was pretty worried the whole time while I was at work... When I got back to my car later that night, I tried it again. Reverse still slammed but driving in first gear at low speeds through the garage was fine.. It was when I pulled out of the garage that I noticed it was slipping between first and second gear. I drove to my friends house and when I went to back into the parking space, NO REVERSE!! I had to push my piece of **** in the parking space... On my way back home, sometimes it would shift from first to third gear and when I got really close to home, it was shifting fine going forward but no reverse still. Even though I hate this piece of **** autotragic transmission, I hope I don't have to buy one any time soon. Does anyone know the cure to this problem? Please help.

Trans fluid ok, colour, smell, level? No SES light on?

Trans fluid fine, SES light is from the 0410 code (Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction) which came on after I installed my header (But thats another problem)... Brought my Satty to the dealership today and they said something like a second gear clutch pack was done. Luckily, without me knowing it, I had purchased an 80000 mile extended warranty when I bought my car or else it would have cost me 300 dollars for them to just look at it and come up with a diagnosis
