Default Help...Rear Disc Conversion

I am trying to do my rear disc brake conversion. I got the passanger side done pretty easily. When I tried to put the caliper on the driver's side, the piston is too far out. I have tried to compress is using a tool specifically made for it. The other side was tough to move, but this one doesn't look like it is going anywhere. Is there a valve internally that would make this not go back in? If you push the e-brake part it will move up. Am I looking like I will have to purchase a new caliper?

Thanks in advance.

I usually spray a bit of WD-40 on the dust boot to stop it from sticking as the piston is turned in. Some rear calipers can take a good bit of downward force to start and keep them turning in. One other optionis to open the bleeder screw and let the brake fluid go out that way rather than having to go to the masster. Especially as you are going to be bleeding the system any ways.
