Default Help with reverse glow gauges

I was over at Pat's today, and we installed my gauges. when we turned them on, they were great, but when flipping the switch from blue to green, they went out and never came back on. We checked all connections, and they are all solid, the ground is good, and all fuses are good. we tripple checked all the connections, and they're all right, and everything is the way it should be. Pat says i jinxed it by saying pro crap parts before we started, lol. any help is greatly appreciated.

Your right, Pro **** parts indeed. I have great news, well not really, your power inverter is gone. Return them if you can ASAP. Do you have the newer style harness with the fuse in the power wire, if so check the fuse? Where did you wire the power off of to begin with?

We wired the power into the dimmer switch power wire so that when the regular lights are on at night, the gauges will be on too, and the fuse is still good, we checked about 20 times, lol. do you think they'll let me send back just the inverter?

Had a similar problem with mine, I discovered that the metal behind the instrament cluster was not a good grounding point. I ended up running a new line down to the grounding point behind the cig lighter. Also the black wire in the factory dimmer switch didnt test out properly with a DMM.

If that doesnt work return it asap while the warrenty is still good. Good luck.

I have an extra inverter if you need one. PCP sent me one because my tach wouldn't glow and they knew that "it was the power inverter" and I knew it wasn't. So, I got a free one if you want it. Just pay for shipping.

Damn, I wish I would have known about that a week ago. I bought some new gauges just for the inverter. If Dark-Magus dosen't it, I'll take the inverter off your hands for a backup.

I run my gauges on the green setting. When you turn it to blue, you can really hear the high pitch from the inverter. One, my car is green so the green matches my car better. So, you can have this one if you want. I guess if mine goes bad, I'll be calling back here
