I guess next I could change my IAC valve, but I don't see how that will affect anything. Wouldn't the IAC valve have some affect on that after that car is warmed up? It idles at 2k even on cold starts. Only when I turn the A/C on does the idle drop. Any help would be great.

Block the IAC passage off and see if the idle is still high. Have you cleaned the IAC and passage?

No, I haven't cleaned it yet. Is it the thing on the passenger side that plugs directly into the head?
