| I have a stupid question..... Does anyone know how big the gas tank for my 95 sw2 is? I think I'm getting bad gas mileage (among other things) but I don't have the manual that would tell me |

| I am thinking 12.8 or 12.9gal. Not sure though. For bad gas mileage, check air filter, fuel filter, ECTS...there are a few things to check that could cause this. |

| Maybe someone could also help me with my other problems? Like my car burning oil horribly, and overheating. I did a complete radiator flush, but I'm still leaking from somewhere. But all my hoses seem to be fine and in tact. And I bought and replaced my thermostat, so that's fine too. I hate taking my car into the shops cuz I get ripped off since I'm a girl so I try to do all the labor myself. |

| Saturns burn oil. Simple as that. You can do an MMO piston soak to help fix this problem ( http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...ht=piston+soak ). Headgasket for the leak? Saturns can tend to overheat when just idling at a stop light. Some, just as myself, wired up a switch to the radiator fan so I can turn it on whenever I desire. I think it is possible to replace the sensor as well so fan is activated at a lower operating temperature. |

| Like he said, they all burn oil. Mine is getting really bad now (after only 40k) it will burn up to 1/4 quart in one 45min trip.
As for the overheating, can you discribe it more? Like tristan said, temps tend to climb VERY quickly when not moving and the cooling fan doesn't kick on until the 3/4 mark. Many people consider this overheating, but its not. As long as the fan brings the temp back down everything is fine.

| ECTS.
As for the oil, try a catch can.
This is mine after a single tank of gas (approx. 300 miles): http://www.saturnspot.com/forum/albu...php?pic_id=699
I used to go through up to a 1/2 a quart between oil changes. Now it's dropped to almost nothing.

| The overheating...I pretty much figured out that going up to the 3/4 mark and staying for awhile until the fans kick in is normal. But there's times when it'll climb way in to the red, and even when I turn my heat on full blast to try and cool it down, it still won't really go down. Worse when I'm idling, obviously. I also have problems starting my car. Like I'll turn the ignition and and my engine will start to turn over, then just stop. But not like it does with a dead battery, or lack of fuel. And it's a pretty common occurence in my car now. |

| ECTS is the engine coolant temperature sensor, which the computer uses to help determine how much fuel to inject. It will also tell the computer when to turn on the fans, as it tells how hot the coolant is.
The catch can is for oil.
I did a write up for it on Saturnfans.com: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...threadid=38025

| Not to hijack the topic but....
A quesiton for jeep. Why does your catch can collect about gazillion times more oil than mine (mine lookes like that after 1000miles not 300), but my car burns 1 quart ever 1500miles. And HOW do you get 300miles on a tank. I'm at 180 at 1/4. I get about 25mpg on a good day.
