Default Idle Problems


Hey guys when I put my Saturn in drive it wants to die and it does the same thing when i put it in reverse and it will almost die when i put it in park. I thought that this might be a fuel prob. I changed my fuel filter and that didnt help. Im baffled what do you think that it is

It has a Vortex cherry bomb muffler.

AEM short ram intake
Clear corners
And oh yeah dayton tires Just like uniroyals

is the service engine light on? i'd check the codes before doing anything else. but you might want to check the throttle position sensor and clean your fuel injectors.

where is it leveling off the idle at? should be around 800-900 in drive with full brake..

uhh on my 97 sl2 it's on the back side of my throttle body. again, i would check the codes if you know somebody with a code-reader because really, it could be a lot of things..
