Default inexpensive scantool

At our GM dealership we were looking for an inexpensive scan tool for ALL types of autos. Our goal was to be able to scan many types used cars and retrieve and remove codes. Try typing "carcode" into your search engine and read the reviews. All you need for this one is an 386 or newer laptop or a desktop computer with a long serial cable. It isen't as complicated as a GM Tec 2 but its no light weight . It would be usable to the beginer and advanced enough for a professional too. The cost is right if you only need one car line such as Just GM (which includes Saturn) but for more money you can get a package that reads almost any car made. One drawback is that it only works on 95 and newer OBD2 cars and trucks.....I bought it and would recomend it to you all
