Default injectors

hey guys new to the site here. pretty cool and very informative. i have a 00 sc2 1.9 dohc......anyways i picked up a t3 turbo off a tbird the other day, and i got everything figured out on how to do it pretty cheap. my only question is, i picked up 1st gen eclipse 450cc low impedance injectors, when i through these hogs in will my cpu have problems with the increase in fuel flow or will there be som way i can trick the cpu to think im running stock size injectors, but let the 450 cc's flow like they should? i talked to my friend with a 98 civic ex turbo and he used the same injectors and he had to tie a little box in with his cpu to trick it so he could use the 450cc's. also have to order the SPS adj fuel press. regulator so i can adjust it a little better. any feedback is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!!

hmm... stock injectors are under 300 cc's if I recall correctly, so you'd be running wayyyyyy rich if you stuck those 450cc injectors on with a stock ECM. That box your friend tied into his Civic was probably an Air/Fuel controller along the lines of an APEXi safc. If you can get those injectors installed properly, the apexi (or other similar product) can tune your fuel curve to a proper mixture. make sure you install an air/fuel gauge, and dyno tuning never hurts either, except on the wallet. But a few bucks on a dyno beats the crap out of blowing a couple grand on a toasted motor.

This is a stand alone fuel controller that you build youself and it is less then $200 to buy the parts for there are some people using these on saturns on Turbosaturns.net I plan to use one when I get my turbo.

the box he tied in is a very small box that sits right next to his cpu. his car runs rich but not as rich as im sure mine would..... other than running rich, will my cpu have problems keeping up with fuel flow?
