Default Intake Question

ok, i put a short ram intake on my 98 SOHC and when i started the engine the service "engine soon light" came on. i drove around for a little bit and it eventually went off and now doesnt come back on. Do i have to worry about anything or does it just take a while for the computer to get used to the new part?

It might of been a lose connection on the Air Temp sensor, Id check and make sure that its pluged in all the way. To awnser the last question no it shouldnt take the car a while for it to get use to it the check engine light shouldnt of came on, just check the wire like I said.

Mine did the same thing and thats what it was. I had to clear the code though since it wasnt turnning off (go code reader).
