well last night my girlfriend woke me up and said the car broke down so i go out and take a look it was the battery no biggie so i went to autozone got a battery and went to change it first off i hate the owner who had the car last because the battery strap bolt on top was stripped bad bad bad so i ended up riping the whole thing out and damageing the battery tray alittle so get the new in and the keyless entry wont work or any thing if any1 has any idea plz comment sorry for the long and boring post

Only the Key fob not working? I not seen that hapen on a battery change before. First thing to do would be to check all of the fuses. Check the owners manual to see what ones run the keyless entry/theft deterent systems.

I was looking for replacement keyless entry remotes not too long ago and I found a site that had them for NEW for $29.99 for my 98 SL2 and 03 Vue.

I had them delivered in less than a week and the programming instructions only took maybe 10 seconds?
