When I had a 91 SC2 my radiator leaked fluid and it was hard as **** to find where it was coming from. So make sure you check it really good or you could miss it.

You could have spilled. What area of the car does it seem to be leaking from or showing up at.

i tried to find the leak and was unsuccessful - it is drippin from like the drivers side front bumper, drippin off that, i looked and looked and tried to pinpoint it and i couldn't - this is why i think that i could have just spilled some when i was changing the original hose and maybe now it is just coming out of a spot or hole...?? hmmm....ill check again in a little while to see if it is still leakin

Hey dude those leaks in the radiator can be a ho to find.

Try driving around for awhile letting your engine warm up really well. Come back to your parking space and feel of the drip or leakage thats on the bumper. If its hot or really warm then you'll know it came from the radiator or some other spot where the coolant was being circulated through the engine.

If its just like room temperature or something then its probably just a spill that gets splashed around when driving.

Just becare full when dealing with anything like this for two main reasons:

Its a chemical you dont' want in your mouth (don't ask) or eyes.

The second is that its a HOT chemical so be really careful.

Heres the stupid question. Did you tighten the upper rad hose clamps properly? The AF isn't leaking from the hose to neck area? The next thing is the drivers side of the rad seems to be the weaker of the plastic side tanks. Check that area out.

uder all water pumps is whats called a weep hole, when they start leaking they throw th antifreeze forward towards the rad and down inti the lower engine mount bracket, so they can be the shiznit to pinpoint down.
if its not the rad id bet thats what it is, the weephles leaking and throwing it around via the pulleys and belts.
this is exactly why i asked scott to do my tahoes pump this week, cause a couple of weeks ago a freind of mine with only 40k on his truck had one go bad, and his wasnt the average weep hole , it was the goddamned weep GEYSER! so befor ei wound up stcuk in the middle of the FL swamps when i went to lauderdale yesterday ox did a total coolant system update, new hoses, thermo, pump, flush, etc, sadly, these are things i used to ENJOY doing my own work, but since my trucks so high i cannot physically do so no longer.

you might have spilled some. then it will drip for awhile. just a word of advice. don't use any of that bars coolent fix crap. that stuff usuall doesn't work and it usually ends up in the heater core.

I may be stating the obvious here, but no one else has...Is the coolant level dropping in the tank? A "leak" would eventually lower the level in the tank...a "spill" would not.
