Default Lights & chimes when brake pushed??

Today our Saturn Wagon started acting strange...when the car is turned off and we push the brake, the lights come on and chimes ring? Also, cruise control stopped working later in the day...

Any ideas? Thanks

welcome to the spot.

First thing I would have done is to hire someone to perform a seyonce on your car to rid it of the spirits within. lol

Next, I would look for a possible short, in a loose set of wires under the dash around your feet. The chime is probably ringing, not because of the initial problem, but because the lights are on with the key out.

Welcome to the board.

Year and model?

That said check for pulled down wiring harnesses around the brake pedal.
