Default Low Gas Light

Alrighty, low gas light - does it come on directly from the sensor or from needle position on the gauge?

The light is activated by the fuel level sending unit.

How much fuel is left when that lil light comes on anywho?

Thankfully I never go below 1/4-1/8 often, but hey, never hurts to know.

On my ION, it comes on at like 2 gallons of gas.

Yeh, I have went 30+ miles with my light on as well. Saturns havea 12gal tank, not sure exactly how close to 12gal exactly it is, but I have put 11.86 in my car before (according to the pump) so I assume I was preeety low.
