I pulled a manual transmission out of a 91 saturn and was told by a friend that if you dont leave one axle spline in it, the transmission will miss align and jam. Is that true? I always appreciate any advice or expertise from you guys. You've helped me keep my good ole car going--------John

Take it from a recent expert that is totally bogus it wont do it you can take the axles in and out as much as you want too no damage will occur.. Unless you do the damage yourself
