Default Misfiring problem

The problem is the car is misfiring on the #3 cylinder. I just recently changed the plugs and wires. When I did so I notice that there was some corrusion on one of the posts on the coil pack. Could this be the case as to why the car is misfiring and would it be smart to just go ahead and replace it anyways ? Also I am getting terrible gas milage, around 200 miles per tank. The car has an sohc engine and has around 123,000 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !

could be coils. but also fuel system should also be something to look into. and hope there is nothing wrong with internal engine.

as of gas mileage, anything in the fuel system, ignition, some sensors, tires, and other thing can cause that.

Definetely the place to start. Either clean the corrosion from the coil tower (s) or replace them. Also make sure that there is no corrosion in the plug wire end. Mileage could be the misfire but it could also be coolant temp sensor, thermostat???
Fix first what you know is wrong.
