Default moon roof

I just purchased a 96 sl2 with afactory moon roof. Is this suppose to make a clicking sound if you hold the button down after it is opened or closed? This is the first one I have ever owned and am just wondering if this is the way it is suppose to be? thanx. wnk.

Mine doesnt. Sounds to me like the motor could be going or its not hitting a stop of some sorts.
