Default Motor dies after depressing brake pedal? Eh?

Here's a good one for you folks. I recently purchased a '93 Sl2 as a parts car. I was attempting to move it in front of the garage this morning and it died every time I stepped on the brake pedal. It's kind of funny since I drove the car home the other day and it ran like a champ.

My first though was to try plugging the vacuum line to the brake booster, but that didn't solve the problem. My next though is that maybe there's a wire bundle getting pinched by the brake assembly under the dash, but I haven't worked up the gumption to go stand on my head and investigate, yet.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening? It really doesn't matter too much since it's just a parts car, but I don't feel like pushing a car around the yard by myself, or trying to use just the handbrake to stop the car once it starts rolling.

does the radio work?? or does the car die if u turn on the head lights??? only asking cause it could be batery or alternator

it definatly would suck to have to push it around the yard but another thought is what parts are u planing on taking from it eventually its not gonna move under its own power or at all if u keep taking more and more stuff off it so maybe a solution would be to find a good spot where u kan get stuff off it with out moving it (if whatever the problem is with it dieing cant be fixed easily this will be helpful also) just a thought

All of that stuff works fine. The entire car works perfectly except for the left rear window. LOL.

I'm actually planning on yanking the motor out first. I need tp park it sideways in front of the garage so that there is still room to park a car in the driveway. If I back in to the spot and don't stop soon enough, I could hit another car that's parked in the yard. It's really sort of interesting.

Of course, none of this would be a problem if it had a manual tranny. Instead I have a auto that does hard gear slams and I have to try to move it around without hitting the house or any other cars. Bah!

I'm just gonna go e-brake it in to place.
