Doesnt that thing only need signals from the tps, map, and tach? Just tap into them under the hood.

and it also needs ign, and proper ground. that i can only get off of the PCM. plus the wires arent long enough to tap into the wires at their source. nor do i know which wire is which (3 by the throttle, 4 by the coil.. etc)
.. my PCM IS under the hood. BTW

anyone here have a haynes/chilton manual for 00+? I'd try to help but I have the manual for the previous generation (well, Josh has it), and the wires could quite possibly be different.

Well, the map sensor is going to have 3 wires, 1 will be ground, 1 will be power, and one will be an in between voltage...you want the last one. The tps will have 3 wires same as the map...you want the one that is variable when you move the throttle. And the ign and gnd can be gotten elsewhere besides the pcm, especially if the pcm is under the hood.

eh. you dont have an apexi SAFC... it says right on the install guide, DO NOT connect to chassie ground. unit WILL NOT function properly, and may be damaged, or cause damage to your PCM. i know you are trying to help, and thanxs, but id rather just hook it up to the computer... im going to try a friend i have who works at a dealer...

Dude the ground is most probably the black wire on the pcm...there might even be a few of them...
