Ok, I've got a red 1997 SL2. ÂÂ*My dad's got a 2002 quicksilver sl2.
I like how his tail lights swoop up instead of down like mine.
I know I would have to replace the tail light assembly, rear 1/4 panels, verticle trunk surface.
My question is : are the rivit points the same for each body panel on both of these cars?
Any info from sombody with a FSM would be GREATLY apreciated.

Oh, and I know a guy that can weld/rearange/shave the 'lip' on my car to match the edge on the 2002.
So should I go with the stock lip on the 1997 or go with the cleaner edge on the 2002?

Can I swap the tail light assemblies, rear 1/4 panels, and trunk off of a 2002 SL2 and put it on my 1997 SL2? The mounting points where the rivits go in and all, are they the same?
