Default Msd ignition hook up?

My girlfriend has a msd ignition from her 1992 honda. It is a sport compact ignition kit I was wondering if that would work on my 1995 saturn sl2. or what I would need to make it work. I was just wondering because I plan on putting it in when I put my new motor in. Just another 1.9L.

MSD should have tech sheets on their site, or available to you. Contact them, and they'll have all the answers you need.

I don't believe the SCI kit will work with the DIS system on Saturns. I think it's made to work with the dist. type ign. systems as found in the Honda.

I really really don't think it will work, but I could be wrong.

Honda's use distributors, Saturns use DIS which has coil packs.

yeah, didn't think of that. The difference is that Hondas still use a rotating mechanical distributor, while Saturns use an ignition system that has no moving parts whatsoever.

Hmm.
