My reverse lights work off and on

Aight the wierdest thing, my car is sometime a lil hard to get into reverse but nwo it will go into reverse and the lights will sometime come on and sometimes they won't i have the hybrid blue bubls but those shouldn't matter anyone have any ideas?

probably either the contact to the back up light siwtch in the tranny has corrsion, pull it off and clean it first, then retry if not the back up switch itself, i have plenty of them from trannys that i use for cores.

where would i find that contact you forget i am not very car savy

remove the battery and tray, right under it yull see where theres an outline imprinted showing gears 1 through 5, right next to that sticking up is a plug, thats your back up light sensor on a 5 speed.
