Default New Radiator

So my car has been leaking coolant lately and there is no visible leak anywhere. I bought some radiator stop-leak with no success and now I am taking it to a radiator shop about an hour away to get the plastic radiator replaced...since Saturn's engineers are so genius they decided on a plastic radiator with an integrated metal core aka a throw away. I cant have the damn thing just recored because, well its a throw away. I am about to leave and after about 200 dollars she will be back in running order(I hope)

Wish me luck

Devon

you could have done it yourself for half of that cost in about 30 mins. max....its not hard at all, the only thing thats a pain is the a/c thing in the front

You should be able to get a brass core rad for your car for around $150 or so.

And yeah, do the job yourself, it's so freakin easy!

as SOON as you get it back, you better get ready to waste some money, flush out all the new coolant, add water and a radiator flush product, a strong one flush it out, take a hose and stick it in one end, you MUST flush the block, that rig in a bottle **** you added is the worse thing you can do to a car, ive taken apart engines and the water journals are half closed and caked up with that ****, its pure junk, unless its an emergency, like your hours from a tow truck, etc, never ever use any of the rad sealants! these gum up inside the entire engine, worse product to be offered to the public, ive seen saturn journals so clogged with the crap that barely a piss stream could get through them....
