The only lights that work are my headlights... Ok. Recently I figured out how to wires my headlights so that when I turn on my brights, and lo and hi beams come on. Now, in my 97 SC, the wiring in the column for my lights is like so:
orange = common 12V
black = comming ground
blue = lo beam ground
pink = high beam ground
brown = parking lights
Now, I wired up my relay like so:
the ground go to the pink and the other end goes to the orange. since the pink is pos. until the highs are on, the coil isnt energized until i flip my highs on. so then, once the switch is flipped closed, i have one wires comming from black (ground) and the other wires going to blue (low beam)
My headlights work like I want: low = low beams / high = low and high beams
Now, for some reason, those are the only lights that work. the parking lights dont work, but when i turn the blinker on they do, my tail lights dont work except for when I brake or turn signal. The gauges and other lighting in the car doesn't work.
I checked every possibly fuse under the hood and in the car that was possible to find and all was good. What wires control all of these lights I'm missing? |
