Default poor gas mileage

aight so all of a sudden on my last tank I got about four mpg less than my previous tank, and my current tank isn't lookin' too great, either (so far I'm on 5/8 tank and I've only gone ~90+ miles.

Now my fuel gauge takes a while to drop during the full-to-3/4 mark, and then will literally plummet from the 3/4-to-1/4 mark, and will then take forever to drop for the remainder of the tank (as is the case with most saturns).

It's been about five months since I used that fuel injector cleaner, but I couldn't have had THAT much deposit build up since then...

I'm also worried that I might have a bad plug or two (haven't had the time to check 'em out); could they lend themselves to poor mileage?

Yeah I feel retarded for asking this but I need to know...

Check tire pressure.

My current tank is bombing because my compressor's out at Sandy's house (well, yanked it back today), and I'm going to put it up to 38 psi all around now.

My driver's front tire has a small leak, needs fillin every week or so. It's bad enough that I have to counter steer to the right to go straight about 5-10 degrees.

hmmm...yeah now that you mention it I recently (meaning about a week ago) filled up my tires seein' as how they were all between 31-33 psi. come to think of it I should rotate 'em, too...just cuz it needs to be done.

I'm also gonna change my oil tomorrow and add that fuel injector cleaner stuff when this tank gets emptied.

We'll see how it all pans out.

Thanks, Jeep; any more suggestions, anyone?

Use SeaFoam injector cleaner. Everything else is a joke.
